Why Unplugged

At Two Buoys we support Local Artists and Live music many of Two Buoys unplugged contestants get great exposure play regular gigs and advance their musical journey.

If you’re an up and coming artist looking to establish yourself further then Two Buoys Unplugged is a great forum to do it in, we are committed to supporting local talented artists whom have something to say. It’s a great opportunity to be seen in a supported live setting, expose your self to new opportunities and connections, collaborate with like minded people and share in over $6000 worth of prizes .

Previous years finalist have all gone on to further establish themselves in the industry, writing and releasing music, performing professionally, appearing on Australian Idol even winning the Voice season 2022.

Mietta Winner – season 2
Lucky Mietta, joined unplugged last year and with her talented guitar skills and beautiful vocals, Mietta won. Since winning the grand prize of Professional recording time at “Exclusive Creative” she is in the making now of releasing her first EP.

Olivia Mae – runner up season 2
Olivia Mae is locally from the Mornington peninsula studying full time in the medical industry. In her spare time, she loves to write and perform her music. Olivia’s classy yet elegant voice was a charm to listen to and led her to the unplugged grand final scoring runner up. She has now released a single “Cruel Thing” which is available to listen to on Spotify.

Sam O’Connell – third runner up
Sam O’Connell was the third runner up in unplugged last year. He is currently busting out his guitar skills and singing his heart out locally around the Mornington peninsula.

Beth – Australian idol
The beautiful vocalist Beth was a contestant of Unplugged last year here at Two Buoys, she has since gone onto Australian Idol. You can see Beth performing around the CBD and Mornington Peninsula.
